F-111 A8-147 finally arrived at Evans on the 5th of August 2013 after a low-loader trip from  RAAF Base Amberley.  The truck left at 3am and came from the Qld NSW border at sunrise with a NSW Police Escort

Well the last of the F-111’s has arrived at Evans Head.  Six were given on permanent loan to Museums around Australia with Evans Head being the lucky recipient for one of them.
